Davis Instruments 7852 Rain Collector features a self-emptying design that is exceptionally accurate!
Compatible with Weather Monitor II and Weather Wizard III weather stations, the body and base of this sturdy rain collector are constructed of durable UV-resistant plastic. The tipping bucket pivots on bearings, minimizing friction and wear, and stainless steel adjustment screws under each chamber of the bucket allow you to fine-tune the calibration.
Designed to meet guidelines set forth by the World Meteorological Organization, this Davis Instruments rain collector is used to transfer information to a compatible weather station about daily and accumulated rainfall amounts.
The 7852 Rain Collector allows precipitation to enter through a screen to filter out debris and collects the amount in one chamber of the tipping bucket. The rainwater later drains out through screened drains in the base of the collector.
